If you want to hold your own Quiet Pride event, we’d strongly encourage you to. It’s an incredible event where people can feel their authentic, full self. A space where being disabled and LGBTQ+ is a shared experience.
Quiet Pride 2022 was a brilliant event, held in a single room with craft activities and very little budget. The budget we did have was spent on BSL interpreters.
Quiet Pride 2023 was a bigger event with workshops as well as drop in art spaces, an art exhibition and a poetry reading.
